Brain training made fun

The Pre-Primary Program is for children aged 5 to 7 years old.

Shichida Early learning program for preschoolers

Shichida Australia Pre-Primary program is for children aged 5 to 7 years old previously enrolled in our program.

Pre-Primary classes draw out their innate talents, build on learning and abilities from earlier years and equip them with the strong foundational skills to complement their school curriculum.

Our preschool learning programs are based on the Shichida Method; a world renowned curriculum backed by over 60 years of research into children’s brain development and learning patterns.

The Shichida preschool learning programs focus on abilities such as speed reading, auditory processing, mental mathematics, visualisation, mind-mapping and mnemonic devices. These practical skills are building blocks for success at school, university and beyond.

How preschoolers learn

This is a time when advanced abilities emerge. Preschoolers begin to confidently take on more complex and challenging tasks while becoming more independent.

In language-rich environments, preschoolers are continuously learning new vocabulary and language skills from conversations during activities. It’s normal at this stage for children to begin to lead imaginative play, ask questions of adults and their playmates, and become increasingly more interested in the world around them.

During this period, your child begins to develop or build on their confidence, resilience and self-esteem. Our preschool learning programs will support your child to develop in each of these important areas.

Q+A: Pre-Primary classes with Shichida Australia

Your child will engage in activities that will stimulate both the left and right sides of their brain. This supports their learning milestones and stimulates their natural curiosity.

Lessons will enhance their visual and auditory processing, and hone their memory and ability to process large amounts of information. Simultaneously, a strong foundation in literacy and numeracy is being developed.
Creativity and self-esteem are also fostered during activities.

All these skills are introduced through games that help to strengthen the connections in the brain. Our Shichida early learning instructors guide your child in a friendly and engaging way.

Some examples of activities your child will participate in include flashcards, logical reasoning games, debates, mind maps, story problems, the wave speed reading method and open-ended questions.

The above-mentioned activities are specifically appropriate for their stage of brain development.

Our preschooler education programs are offered in 6 locations across VIC and NSW. See the list of locations for Shichida Early Learning centres here.

Shichida Australia does not accept new students over the age of four and a half years old. After this point, it is difficult for beginners to catch up, and this is not good for a child’s self-esteem. Enrollment in our preschool learning programs is only open to children who are already enrolled in the Shichida Australia program.
