Philosophy: Soul Education
“The main aim of the Shichida method is not to give children knowledge, but to cultivate their heart and soul.” Makoto Shichida.
The brain works more effectively when there is correlation between the right and left brain. When the right brain is developed well together with the left-brain, the heart will be raised to a high level of potential. That is when a child is able to exceed our expectations and show his or her strengths. The best time to maximise right brain development is before the age of six.
Shichida is proud to be one of very few early childhood education centres with a global presence that offers a comprehensive and well-researched whole brain training using a right brain education approach.
The right brain education focuses on sensibility, empathy and EQ development, cultivating the heart. Right brain education is the education of the heart. Cultivating the heart is a necessary condition for achieving the advanced level of the right brain. In order to cultivate a child’s heart, conveying love between parent and child and building the relationship of mutual trust is important. Do believe in your child’s potential by loving him or her, and nurturing them well. All children are born with unique abilities that are innate and easy to develop with proper training and parental guidance.
